New Zealand-ASEAN Scholarship for Indonesian

Under the NZ-AS scheme, up to 170 scholarships are available to candidates from ASEAN countries. From the total of 170, up to 50 scholarships per annum are available for Indonesian applicants.

Eligibility: 

• From the public or private sector; 
• With a proposed field of study in support of sustainable economic development (as the core focus of the New Zealand Aid Programme), especially on agriculture, renewable energy (geothermal) and disaster risk management; 
• Strong candidates from all areas will be considered, especially candidates who can demonstrate leadership qualities and potential for future leadership; 
• Preferably be under 40 years of age at the time of application for Masters and under 45 years of age at the time of application for PhD; 
• Those with work experience in a field relevant to their intended course of postgraduate study, and able to demonstrate a connection between their previous field of study and their intended field of postgraduate study; 
• Applicants must also meet the general eligibility criteria outlined in the ASEAN Scholarships under Indonesia Country Portfolio. 

Sidney Myer Health Scholarship 2012-2014

Below is information regarding the Sidney Myer Health Scholarship 2012-2014.

The aim of the Sidney Myer Health Scholarship program is to enhance the career development of allied and public health, medical, bio-medical science and nursing professionals and address community and population health issues in local and regional communities across Australia, by providing PhD scholarships over the period of three years.

Applications will open on 1 September 2011 and close at 4:00pm on 17 October 2011.

The application form will be available from the website of The Myer Foundation and Sidney Myer Fund from 29 August 2011.

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarship 2012-2013

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides scholarships for Indonesian citizen, for the following programs:

1. Long-term Research Grants, for Master Graduates of All disciplines (holding S2 degree for PhD in Germany)

2. Short-term Research, for Post Doctoral and DAAD Alumni


Interested applicants can submit their application to DAAD Jakarta office at  Gedung Summitmas I lantai 19 and at Surabaya DAAD Information Poin c/o The International Village Universitas Surabaya. The deadline is 15 October 2011.
